We’ve got some great special offers for League Collegiate Outfitters customers who write orders at our trade show booth at CAMEX (Campus Market Expo) beginning this weekend, but at the risk of sounding coy, we can’t tell you what those offers are until you show up.
CAMEX, which runs from this Friday through next Tuesday, is produced and hosted by the National Association of College Stores (NACS) — all under one roof at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
It is collegiate retailing’s premier event consisting of several days of intensive retail education, speakers and special events (Feb. 20-22), followed by a three-day trade show (Feb. 22-24) featuring the latest products for retailers student consumers aged 18-24.
We are settled in at Booth No. 1840, which is situated in an area with all of the other Onecoast-repped brands. Our national sales team — as well as the League team — will be available each day to meet and go over everything we have available for the season ahead. The tradeshow runs from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday and Monday, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
We will have free gear for those who stop in and say hello — including Philadelphia-inspired snacks (can you say Tastykake?), along with League-branded drink koozies, business card holders and of course… T-shirts!
And again, for our customers who write orders at the show, we’re offering some deals that we think you’ll agree are a great way to reward accounts that take the time and the added expense of traveling to CAMEX. These are specifically for orders written at the show.
We have also teamed up with the Connect2One buying group program this year and are running a special offer through them. Check out their booth (No. 4040) for more information on their League special.
Each year we look forward to CAMEX, because it’s our annual opportunity to connect with a wide variety of accounts and spend time working with our sales reps from across the country. This year, we’ll be well represented by a half dozen League staffers, including owners Drew Wolf and Larry Klebanoff; Lauri Winters, our director of administration-sales & marketing; Robert Knowles, our key accounts sales manager; Maria McDevitt, a design & development team member; and Kristin Ippolito and Stephanie Harvey, account managers.
This year, CAMEX is co-locating with EDexpo. Produced by the Education Market Association, EDexpo is the premier showcase for the latest innovations covering every facet of learning in the pre-K-12 market. Together, these two form the largest educational products trade show featuring products for students of all ages with more than 750 companies occupying 700,000 gross square feet of exhibit space.
#CAMEXshow is the official hashtag for the show but also look for #League91 on Twitter and Instagram.
