League is the leading collegiate lifestyle brand that you know and love today thanks to our fantastic team members. Our classic styles are designed, crafted, and delivered to bookstores thanks to our behind-the-scenes team. Today, we’d like to introduce you to one of those team members, Noha Ebrahim!
Noha joined the League team just a year ago, and started in Bridgeport production, but was quickly promoted. “My current title is Production Planner Assistant,” she said. “Yes, I started out on the floor in the finishing department and then moved into the office in October 2017!” Of course, she’s already picked a League favorite — the Vineyard Shorts! “They are very comfortable when you are outside. Plus they are also cozy and warm at night! I like all the color selections, too.”
Noha, her parents and her three sisters immigrated to the United States. “We came to the states from Egypt two years ago.” We are all close to each other,” she said. “My oldest sister, Nesma, she is very sweet and supportive, and her children Justin and Jennifer are very close to my heart. My middle sister is Nancy, I can always depend on her. Her son Ethan is the love of my life! And last but not least, my youngest sister Leila, she is loved by all my family and definitely is the spoiled one — she is little, but don’t get on her bad side! They are all part of the League family!”
Noha studied science and technology at Misr University in Cairo, but she loves living and working in the Philadelphia area. “I love delicious cheesesteaks, and visiting Penn’s Landing and the Liberty Bell. And I enjoy the diverse cultures in the city,” she said. She also loves how convenient it is for great destinations to visit. This summer, she is going to explore the area. “Planning a week of vacation at the shore this summer, and visiting New York City.”
Noha loves her job at League. “It’s always exciting, I always look forward to working with my team,” she said. “It’s a very friendly environment, the people in my department are very helpful and we always work together to make sure all the work is complete.” She’s particularly inspired by her co-worker Katie Jones, the planning coordinator in her department. “She’s a very good listener, extremely patient, and knows how to get it done. She loves people how they are. She has a very contagious smile that never fails to make everyone around her happy!”
Noha is inspired not only by Katie but this quote from Joel Osteen: “Make up your mind that no matter what comes your way, no matter how difficult, no matter how unfair, you will do more than simply survive. You will thrive in spite of it.” She is certainly thriving at League!
We’re so glad you’re part of the team, Noha!
