Here at League Collegiate Outfitters we are committed to ethical business practices, corporate responsibility, and in making our team more than just employees — we believe they are family. This year at the annual CAMEX Show, League co-owners Larry Klebanoff and Drew Wolf were deeply humbled and honored to be awarded the Dick Rademaker Excellence Award by Learfield Licensing Partners.
Dick Rademaker was a powerhouse figure in the licensing arena, founding the Licensing Resource Group in 1991 (the same year League was launched). His belief in partnerships between licensees, trademark owners, and retailers was a key part of shaping the collegiate licensing industry.
The Dick Rademaker Excellence Award was created in 2013 to honor Mr. Rademaker’s memory and to celebrate the companies that share his vision of innovation, partnership, creativity and leadership. This makes League the fourth company to be presented with this esteemed award.
“It is an honor to be able to pay tribute to Dick’s life and career with this award,” said Bob Bernard, president and CEO Learfield Licensing. “League Collegiate Wear has been a great licensee partner and represents the qualities Dick looked for in a company and in a partner, and it’s a pleasure to recognize their hard work and continued success.”
Along with Bob Bernard to present League the award at CAMEX were Cheri Moore, Director of Licensee Development and John Dutton, Vice President of Retail and Licensing Development.
Learfield Licensing Partners is a trademark management company specializing in collegiate licensing and branding. League couldn’t be more pleased and humbled to be honored with this prestigious award. It is the perfect celebration of the 25th year of business!
